Are you seeking a partner on your therapeutic journey? If so, I am honored to engage with you in this essential work. Trained in child/adolescent/family therapy, our work aims to deepen personal and interpersonal connections and repair fractured relationships. Additionally, therapy with young adults and adult female identified persons focuses on intrapersonal exploration and development as well as creating meaning in one’s life. I take a truly holistic perspective regarding mental health and overall wellness, thinking and treating clients in ways that are often alternative to the mainstream symptom-based medical model of mental health. Attachment and Strengths-Based theories underpin my work. I utilize a Cognitive Behavioral approach interwoven with mindfulness. Guided mindfulness, psychosensory, visualization, relaxation, and breathing techniques help to cultivate healthy mental, emotional, and physical states. The polyvagal theory, as well as soothing and resetting one’s nervous system, helps a person to become truly embodied in this present moment and assists the growth and healing process…For those that are willing to see the beauty in the world and inherent goodness in all humans, my approach will feel like coming home.
